Kendal Calling

Get in, just got my tickets confirmed for calling, and with the news of kopperburg supplying the festival it goig to be great, is there extra buses on from the bus station or is it just normal times???

Just been looking on the Kid British website, it has them playing in That London, on Sunday 2nd August, (Underage Festival, 3.15pm, Victoria Park, That London) yet they are listed as playing Kendal....

Are they doing both? Helicopter?? Rocket???

I was thinking of staying at a campsite in the lakes after the festival and wondered if anyone can recommend one. Also, we're not total yobs, but a campsite that is tolerant of a bit of noise would be preferable.

I keep looking at the Kendal Website looking for some new news or at a countdown to start getting us excited, it's not been updated since the end of may. Just suggesting that maybe the website should be updated and get in to the "kendal calling" spirit,... only 3 weeks away, am so excited

All stage timings have now been finalised, so you can view them now on the news page of KendalCalling.co.uk - here. Enjoy We'll also be including them within the 30 or so page festival guide which we'll be selling at the festival for £3 - this includes maps, interviews, info on the different areas and activities, comics and so on.

In the next few days we'll be updating the website with a competition or two, more news and a few pre-festival videos interviews with various artists (including Craig Charles!).

I'm starting to pack my bags - I'm on site in 10 days!

My litter crew are now in full swing waiting to arrive, we have a mad dash to Penrith after tyding the Wickerman fields. Went up to the site a couple of weeks ago and its great so help us leave it that way and use the bags and bins we provide. See you all there.

Dunno about the efest camp, there was one last year which was pretty good.

I'm with 14 mates who are not efesters so I doubt will be able to persuade them to join another group. It'll be a nightmare getting us all camping together as it is, we're all useless.
