Hi there guys, first visit to Kendal Calling and I thought I was looking forward to it immensely, but after reading through this forum, I'm looking forward to it even more! You guys have really built it up for me and now I really can't wait. Especially for the snow! (Although I do expect to injure myself on it - bloody weak ankles)

Wanted to drop a quick thanks to all who've posted the information, its made our planning for the fest a lot easier. Am going to have to bake a few cakes methinks :) Have got all the gear, now you guys have given me the idea(s).

If anyone has any other suggestions on how to ensure a good time, please let us know!

Belting.

See you in 12 days! Whoop whoop!

Hey all,

Just thought I'd pop by with some goings-on from the website - www.kendalcalling.com/news.htm - we've got interviews with Craig Charles & Frank Turner, an exclusive track from Twsited Wheel, the programme times across the majority of stages and, yes, some sad news about Kid British. Whilst they had been booked, it seems they preferred to play the Underage festival in London.. bizarre.

For those of you who have yet to get a ticket, I recommend getting one soon - we're on the verge of selling out! We're down to the last 300 (out of 6000) and they will be gone any day now.

Food options.. we take quite a delight in our food. We've vegetarian cafes, an on site bakery (courtesy of the Moody Bakers), the Camels Arse (the Nutbuster is the pinnacle of festival fare), pizzarias, African cuisine from Moorish foods (discovered next to the Jazz stage at Glastonbury), a tea shop and a whole host of other grills and roasts and such.

I'll be on site from this Friday - we can't wait to get back in the fields again!

/edit for terrible spelling
