Hunny bunny...I just trainlined Solihull to Bristol Temple Meads at 18.30 and it gave me £14 with 2 changes! All you need to do from Bristol Temple Meads is catch the Glastonbury Town bus which runs until 11pm for only £6 and you my dear will be partying hard with us!

Be there...sent you a text...hope you get it!

Mikey, it wouldn't be worth trying to get to old oaks etc to pitch up at that time.. just make your way to the Riflemans and am sure you will get a bed somewhere B)

Based on two stipulations Mikey ;) you can stay in my tent for the night. Don't worry it's a big old bugger, two rooms :D

I still have no pitch myself...from what I was lead to think I am just going to try and bunk up with some kind soul who has spare space in their tent and throw them some cash. But if we need to pitch up a tent v late on the Tues Mikey, I am sure that wont be a prob...we'll all be leaving so damn early an extra ickle tent will go unnoticed!

Excellent new tho hun so pleased! Yay!

Hey guys, wow, good work, this thread's so long, I can't believe I missed it all this time.

Basically, I live in Glastonbury, and I'd love to come along to the Rifleman's/Tor climbing experience. But am I allowed to bring along a couple of mates who are going to the festival, but have never posted here??

Would hate to break ettiquette.....

Well I reckon Chocky may be having second thoughts about me letting me sleep in his tent, and lets face it I was just being a lazy so and so. The Travel Lodge is now fully booked.

  • I can get booked into Old Oaks Tomorrow - Monday

  • You give me a hand to pack up my tent :P

You definitely coming down on the Tuesday then ?

heh, no worries Chocky, I did feel a bit guilty sharing with you mainly because I was doing it out of laziness  but it looks like Lovely Lucy and Masterful Mikey needed a bit of canvas to lay under as well.

Anyways... first of all I tried to book the pitch online, and it said if you were booking for three or more, to give them a call, so I did. The bloke on the phone said, if there are more than two people on a pitch, they have to be family ( WTF ? ) and I would have to book two pitches. Oh! I thought - well stuff you and said good bye politely. I went back on line and booked a pitch for a tent and two people - job done.

I'm guessing there will be so many of us they wont notice an extra person in my tent, or maybe Chocy you should have one of my guests after all? As I remembered Mikey’s sir name from FB I put him down as my accomplice – oops – partner oh! – Friend B)

Can you see any problems Paul™ ?

Did you book online Mongrel, I did, they only hard stands left (really for c'vans) and it cost me £23!

Don't tell me I did something wrong and you've got grass for cheaper ?
