Green Day are rumoured to be doing Reading/Leeds fest this year. Does anyone think that it is likely that they will do Glasto too? They will be two months apart.

i doubt it. for a band that big i imagine reading will have an exclusivity clause in their contract.

although it has been done before, bands advertised as 'exclusive to V festival' doing isle of wight but not being mentioned in any IOW publicity.

I'm almost 95% sure they won't be playing, but that being said, I'd be excited if they were announced. I haven't listened to them in ages, but they were kind of omnipresent as a child growing up in the US in the late 90's, so there are a lot of memories connected to their songs, and it'd be great to see them live (especially somewhere that I didn't have to deal with the tens of thousands of psuedo-emo ten year olds that frequent their shows here).
