I've been to three of their shows, and actually ended up meeting them after the second and they are great guys! Alex actually helped me get out of my Spanish exam that day. Besides that their live shows are amazing...they have a lot of energy onstage, and the songs are really conducive to dancing. Definitely one of my favorite live bands...right up there with Muse and Daft Punk actually. I have vowed to never miss them whenever they come to town, and since the new album is really splendid (especially Can't Stop Feeling!) it shouldn't be a problem. Can't wait to see what stage they end up on! I'm hoping they end up on Pyramid right before Blur, that'd be a perfect for me!

On Q magazines website it has Franz down (In the news section) to headline the Other stage on the Sat Night (Springsteen night?).

Not sure if this is true, or been said before, but given Q's officialness to the festival...

They were pretty special on their tour of tiny Scottish venues last year or the year before (I think 2007) - seen them in a room that holds 430 - thought the new material had great potential, set was very centred towards album one with only Outsiders and Walk Away being played from YCHISMB, got Shopping For Blood and Van Tango too, a proper rock and roll set, taking requests from the audience and all.

Won't hear a bad word said against them live, especially as they pulled off second from top on the main stage at TITP in 2006 to a huge, huge crowd, and managed the biggest main stage crowd of the weekend after just one album in 2004.

i hope ff do a little park thingy again as well as im gutted they clash with Springsteen....but there is no contest, plenty of chances to see Franz...this maybe the last E-street tour

I'll be really pleased if FF headline the other stage,

Anyone who thinks they haven't moved on as a band hasn't really listened to them

I love them, they are awesome live and the new album is a belter but I'm catching them at the NME Big Gig this year and so it's one less clash to worry about.

Also, I thought that they would be the 4th headliner but I'm wrong about that - which is good, because it makes it more exciting.

They're certainly a great current band to watch. Headlined Reading well in 2006. But a challenge to The Boss? C'mon. They'll be tucked up in bed with their hot chocolate before The Boss even gets half-way through his set.

I went to see them at Benicassim in 2006, mostly because there was nothing else on (it can get a bit sparse at benno). I was completely uninterested in them. They absolutely blew me away. Stunning.

franz' new album works well live too. I think its 'what she came for' that blew everyone away at heaven.

They played the other stage in 2004 and tbh i thought they were amazing, they had the whole crowd bouncing .. it was a scorching day and i have to say that it was 1 of the highlights of that year for me. I can't wait to see them again this year! I will be there.

I really reeeeally want to see them at Glasto this year but im not missing Springsteen, i know there will be plenty places to catch Franz in the Future but i want to see them at Glastonbury i hate clashes !!!
