Can you camp at the top of the Park hill?

I love the space at the top of the hill above the Park!

Anyone know if you can camp up there? Would be wonderful to wake up to that view every morning!

Not officially, although some tents did seem to end up there last year.

Not sure I'd recommend trying - it seemed way too steep for camping to me, you'd wake up aching after being squashed into the corner of your tent.

Not to mention carrying all your camping gear up the hill in the first place.

But yes, there were some tents up there last year. You'll have plenty of space around you too.

I get so high on excitement and adrenaline when I get to Glastonbury that I reckon I'd get my gear up there no probs, especially if I decide to have a lightweight year like last time.

But I wouldn't do it if I wasn't allowed to, cheifly because I don't want to consciously break any of the rules of the festival, because I love the festival so much. And also because being made to move on after lugging my gear up there would suck the big one.
