How would Limp Bizkit be received, i love them because their Chocolate Starfish album was the first album i ever bought. Would they be moshed or bottled???

If Fred Durst isnt being a complete c*ck then yeah should be worth a look, if he decides hes going to be his usual self, then it'll get a bad reception.

Also depends where they are on the bill.3rd or 4th on main stage or maybe stage 2 headliner they probably would get an o.k. reaction but as a headliner main stage I can see them getting bottled badly.

I reckon it would go down a storm, they'd suit second headliner though, basically enough time to blast through the hits and get off stage before everyone realises how irrelevant they are to today's music world also, we really don't need to hear fred durst murdering behind blue eyes lol.

Only problem is, they're notorious for f**king off gigs without any notice.

I disagree if bands like MCR and Lostprophets can headline anyone has shot at it within reason.

i wouldn't lump the two together. MCR had a massive year, sell out arena tour etc, they were huge so it made sense to book them. Lostprophets hadn't done anything to move up from where they'd played at leeds the year before (and then took the piss by playing v so low down lol).

i saw Limp Bizkit at Leeds in 2000, and i won't lie, i thought they were great! but then again, i was like, what, 16 years old at the time so dunno whether i'd still buy it these days!

i saw Limp Bizkit at Leeds in 2000, and i won't lie, i thought they were great! but then again, i was like, what, 16 years old at the time so dunno whether i'd still buy it these days!

i think bizkit would be good for many reasons. I’ve never seen them live but can imagine they create a similar atmosphere to bowling for soup and thats never a bad thing plus i always find watching bands i liked back at school good fun for some reason. Must be nostalgia

No offence...but what on earth makes you think Limp Bizkit create an atmosphere like Bowling For Soup?

I don't really care much for Limp Bizkit, but they're a lot better than that bunch of talent-lackers.

At Reading 2000, there was loads of moshing and circle pits going on.

They are a very different band in terms of sound and style to Bowling For Soup.

One band I'd like to play is Bloodhound Gang, who are actually funny...unlike BFS.

OMG! you wouldn't happen to be 15 and at that stage where you think the whole world should turn the way you want it to and everyone else is wrong and your always right would you? i understand they are 2 very different styles of music but 2 different styles of music can create the same atmosphere at a gig. my point was that i IMAGINE as i have never seen them live that they create a good atmosphere, if someone who has seen them would like to tell me they create a very aggressive and edgy atmosphere then fair play as they have seen them.

"But can imagine" means i don’t claim to be right or wrong but have an opinion on a certain subject. Because i refer to a band that has played download and had many thousands watching them does not give you the right to then reply with a tirade of abuse towards that band.
