Jamiroquai for Glasto 2009?

I can remember him playing the pyramid late afternoon on a hot summers day back in 1995 and it was perfectly amazing, so is there any chance he could play again this year?

There is a new album supposedly out around May/June and he told german reporters that he will be doing a festival tour to support it.

Sunshine, blue skys, brothers cider and Jamiroquai; sound like a perfect combo to me.

christ I hope not. saw him at the sziget festival in hungary last year. Dreadful, dreadful songs that all sound the same and the unfit whopper kept needing massive breaks between songs.

wasn't it '94 and not '95?

I was the year that Channel4 did the TV broadcasts - cos JK was smoking a spliff into the camera and taking the piss. I'm pretty sure that was '94.

Saw them at a Ministry of Sound festival at Knebworth in about 2001, they were surprisingly awesome.

Jay Kay does tend to surround himself with a very tight band and he's a great front man. Only worry would be their output for the last few years.

blimey, me too ..... but have you ever been to such an empty festival? There were just seven people watching Josh Wink, and nearly every tent was permanently empty.
