how the hell can you compare The Manics with The Enemy

The Manics are perphas one of best UK alternative/indie artist of the last 15 yrs, with an amazing back catalogue. While the enemy are nothin more than a medicre band that is flavour of the month in the pop magazines.

Personally I would say thats pretty poor. But as always, there's plenty of other things to do anyway so no point in complaining about it. I have a horrible tendency to get a wee bit merry on the first night so chances are whoever plays I'll probably miss anyway.

I am very suspicious of this being true, my main reason for saying this is because they are coming up to Inverness in March, and whilst they have sold out, they do not fit with the pedigree of acts they currently have. I would have loved to have seen biffy clyro in the headline spot (currently my band of the moment) but had thought they would have gone for either the kaiser chiefs or pulled off the killers (the ticket price being lower on the friday does suggest that it will not be a massive act). I think if and only if the enemy are headlining it will be in the tent and it will mean that leaves room for a contrasting act on the main stage
