They've confirmed 3 Summer festivals for 2009 so far...so looks like they'll be doing the rounds again

How likely could they be to play Glastonbury...that would be amazing

I'm not really into that genre of music normally but I do love Placebo...

look at their dates, I think Glastonbury could fit in quite well?

Saw them in 1998, think they played 1997 as well, they seemed to be enjoying themselves so I suppose there's a good chance they might come back to Glasto. I thought their set was one of the highlights of 98, playing at dusk, except for one guy in the audeience who kept shouting at Brian Molko saying he loved him, but clearly frustrated at not being able to get his attention he threw a glass bottle at the stage and got dragged off by security. Their set was pretty much the whole first album, a few b-sides (Miss Moneypenney, Slackerbitch) and one of their (then forthcoming) second album, The Crawl I think.

Loved their first album, but haven't been grabbed by much of what they've done since, but then again I've totally ignored their last few records so I might be missing out on a few good uns.

oh ye, i watched a video of them playing running up that hill not to long ago, was awesome in all faireness. i never thought to much of them till then.
