Vampire Weekend

About a year ago now I went to see Vampire Weekend in Manchester. We saw Ezra after the gig and asked him if he is playing V last year (we went last year), and he said they couldn't because they were too busy. Quote "We're confirmed for Glastonbury, but can't make V this year. We will DEFINITELY be playing next year though."

Shame I'm heading Glasto this time!

Vampire weeked & MGMT would be fantastic... be gutted if the clashed!! Anyone else be happy with The Balck Kids in JJB or Union tent?

Both MGMT and Vampire Weekend will have been booked giving the way V has worked in the past. As for Black Kids i think they could be a good shout for an early slot in the JJB.

Why would V not book them? Glastonbury and Leeds / Reading did last year, and they're fame has only risen. And V like bands that are very mainstream, and Vampire Weekend along with MGMT etc are the names to drop at the moment.

Vampire weekend, MGMT & Black kids all played Leeds last year and 1st 2 are media darlings so imo dead certs for V...

I could see both Vampire weekend and MGMT on Ch4 stage and if MGMT rise any more possible headliner, Black kids will be in the tents lower slot

I have see all live and will say MGMT are very good live as is Vampire weekend defo would want to see them again:0)

I agree that Vampire Weekend and MGMT are popular with the media at the moment although I'm not sure your average V goer will know a lot about Vampire Weekend. V are much more likely to book Nickelback than Vampire Weekend

i reckon theyre pretty likely to play. 3rd from top on c4 stage i reckon is about right.

Apparently not enough dancing according to this review. I didn't go to that show, I went to the one in Academy 2 about 8 months prior.
