Hey this is my first post on the board but I've been a regular visitor for the last couple of years so firstly a huge thankyou to all who do post as it has been an invaluable tool for info and advice!

Anyhow, popped over to Worthy Farm this afternoon for a walk with a friend so took a few pics and thought i would share! Enjoy!

Wicket Ground (where I had to camp last year - won't be doing that again, its miles from anywhere!!)

Road leading to Pyramid Stage - bridge to dance village on the right, John Peel stage would be left behind where the picture was taken.

I usually pop down there about once a year when the festival's not on for a nose around... it's really surreal how normal everything looks!

Thanks Paul1784 - nice pictures !

It's amazing how that ordinary English countryside landscape is transformed into the site of the Worlds greatest Performing Arts Festival !

Thank you Micheal & Emily Eavis and all your team I don't know how you manage it !

Oh yeah - here is a link to a kind of related (but old) thread Met Micheal Eavis ... B)

Did you stand under the pyramid stage, close your eyes, hear the roar of the crowd and pretend that you were just about to headline on the saturday night?

I would imagine the minute things start getting set-up on the site the deer would be long gone!

There aren't fences/gates as such but obviously it is a working farm. They wouldn't want hundreds of people turning up but at the same time they don't mind people have a wander round as long as you respect the area etc. Plus a quick courtesy call to the Festival office just to say you are planning to visit is a good idea!
