i think that eavis isnt telling us the truth he oftern says things like there will be no further sale and then puts tickets on again. Resales for glastonbury when they were hot tickets was the easiest time to get tickets. So im worried but not as worried as you guys think i should be. I only need 1 ticket anyway

dont really think there will be a problom getting a ticket. Michael eavis is bigging up the festival and saying they have sold 100,000 when i think thats just how many have been reserved. People can still cancell there tickets up untill may so there will be the odd few floating around i think and hope

but that's based on the idea that there's thousands of people who've shelled out fifty quid months ago for no reason whatsoever. If you know lots of people who throw £50 about for no reason, can I have their addresses please? :P

The number of non-payers from those that paid the deposit will be small, I guarantee.

And once some of the line-up is announced, they'll be a very low chance of getting a ticket - the numbers wanting them will be massively larger than the tickets available. It'll make the previous on-sale days look like a breeze in comparison.

I think when the line-up is released then Tday will be awful for most.

I think there are a huge number of people who have now bitten the bullet and bought tickets based on the rumour mill.

I would not hope to get a ticket in April if I did not have one all ready (I keep checking see to make sure :P ) as I know my luck does not hold for Tday in the way it was in the past prior to 2009.

I will however be up on the day to see how things progress through the morning as I think they will sell what they have in mins/hours.

(before anybody screams, no I will not hinder those trying to get through or block the website etc etc)

So my advise would be, if you can get one before the 1st then do so, or you will be involved in the largest scrum for tickets for a long time. Charlie and the chocolate factory springs to mind.
