was talking to gary lightbody back in new years down the local, he told me they where doin festivals, but at that time he didnt know which ones, although im sure he mentioned oxygen...they prob will play but would be pretty high up

I'd say they will prob do the festival circuit this year.

However - they cannot do big stages. Seen them 3 times, in a big tent once and on big outdoor stages twice. They are very much a tent / indoor band. The sound is lost on a big stage.

I'm a big fan but wouldn't want to see them on an outdoor stage again. However they are too big commerically to put them on in a tent.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Saw them at an Eden session 2 years ago and they were awsome. Ok not the biggest stage in the world - but they still had an amazing presense..

Fair enough, but I know if I had a choice to see them in a tent or on a main stage at a festival I'd pick tent every time, based on 3 shows I've seen.

Certainly I would be curious to see them again if they didn't clash with someone I was more keento see. Am sure they would need to put them on the Pyramid stage given the number of people who'd want to see them.

Saw them play before the Foo's at V two years ago and although wasn't bothered about seeing them (seen them twice before) they were quality...

not sure what the new albums like though and not sure that the ones that I have heard would cross over well to a big stage like some of there earlier stuff.

Said before numerous times i was a huge fan, saw them at V on the main stage in 2004 just before they hit the big time, they were one of the highlights of the weekend

Saw them again on their arena tour a couple of years later, very dissapointing

Would not rule out watching them again, would like them to redeem themselves for old times sake
