showers

my mate got me backstage last year so i got fully hot proper showers with no quee

but i only went once, couldnt be bothered to treck over there most of the time, and its just not the glasto spirit. I WANT to be smelly and care free

I try to shower every other day, I just can't handle dirt

last year Greenpeace made the showers communal so there was never a que of more than 10 minutes, in 2007 it was up to a 2 hour wait. Luckily for us when we used them twice in 07 the water went off and we were given a ticket to que jump any time over the festival. Lucky cause both times we'd only been in the que about 10/20 mins

there are showers at the enterance to the Kids field too but a really long wait!

I like to be clean as well; so I take a water carrier, bowl, flannel, soap, towel etc. and have a wash and shave in the tent. So nice to be clean every day!

I usually wash my hair once as well, that's nice and refreshing.

Never had the patience to queue for the showers though.
