I'm starting to hear whispers that KoL might not be playing Reading/Leeds this year after all. It appears that a few weeks back they weren't signed and sealed, tho things might have moved on from the dated info I've heard.

Crazy if true, I'd pretty much excepted they were playing. My mates will be disappointed if this turns out to be the case, I can't say I'll be that annoyed though.

they're an average band who I probably would've watched if nothing else was good on, they may have their moments. wont be gutted if they don't play but hopefully someone worse doesn't take their place. must be a huge worry for the festival though headliners potentially dropping like flies!

Is it just me or is Mean FIddler really running out of time now and we could end up with 3 really low par and rushed headliner choices.

I mean if we take the date the bands were announced last year we only have 9 weeks to go. May seem like a long time but 9 weeks to get

Jesus Christ, if this is ANOTHER headliner slot empty it's going to be a really... iffy festival. You start to wonder what with the higher then ever ticket prices, recession, saturation of the market etc whether Reading will be able to sell out that easily with an iffy set of headliners...

Suggestions for alternatives are starting to scrape the barrel. The only 'big' band I can think of who we've not seen mention who might be touring is Linkin Park... but we've not seen them anywhere else or anything...

We were struggling for second headliners a while go, now it seems like all the headliners arn't booked lol.

Unless they are anounced for Isle of white then I am positive they will play despite what ever efestivals has heard.
