SIGUR ROS

Everybody on here seems to like Sigur Ros and hopes they will play this year. Their new album is free in the Independent today. I've just bought it as they seem to be highly thought of, never heard of them myself.

I got it! It isn't anything i dont have already, but its another Sigur Ros album! I would really love them to play, probably more than most others, except Dilmour, Springsteen and Young.

Sigur Ros are the most amazing band and I'm disappointed I missed this in the Indy unless it's just one of their normal albums which of course I own already

There haven't been any rumours about them playing Glasto this year but they would be one of my "trump" acts if they were to feature. Saw them at Arras last year and they were bloomin' marvellous!!

Just old stuff on the Independent CD, nothing new, but nice all the same.

Jonsi himself told me in November that he hadnt been asked to play Glasto, and their management people said they were taking a rest after the world tour, so chances they will play Glasto are slim, but it would be nice and who knows...

It's more a sampler CD of material from their last couple of albums... so don't go spending your £1.60 thinking you're getting a proper album with it!
