i know its not a nice thought for some, but surely theres a few unable to pay.

I think this site should be renamed "Mystic Meg does Glasto" 'cos no-one knows how many tickets there will be, or who will play, or anything!

It's all guesswork! Most people probably will pay - maybe 5 percent won't? Possibly 10, given the recession and job losses, which I thnk will affect a few people.

But again that is a pure guess based on absolutely nothing except my gut feeling. Whichi si pretty unreliable!

AFAIK Everyone I know who paid deposits are still going and purchased tickets

We've all paid ours off. All you needed to do was save about a tenner a week since deposit day. Not many people can't afford that.

If the 'festival organisers have CONFIRMED' then it doesn't take a mathematical genius to do the maths does it? It's not a prediction where the rumour mill takes first place.

Yeah was thinking that, but even if 15% didn't then thats still most sold at 75%. Doubt it's that high anyway.

i think its going to be less than 5% of people that put down deposits decide not to/ cant pay the rest. If you are eager enough to put down a deposit your not going to go wasting a tenner and not pay up

we lost 6 of our 10. just poor money management. they knew it was coming up but didnt put anything away. reckon a few of them will try and sort it out next month if they can though.

Blimey, really? I mean, I guess I can understand wanting to see your favourite band and all, but from what I've seen on tv, the crowds for the big names are so huge it's not really worth it.

Seems the festival is so much more than one or two bands who, even if they are confirmed, still might not play due to injury or a sudden split up or something.

I think for a big group going, if one person can't pay, the rest should chip in for their ticket, but make that person the festival donkey, and get them to fetch drinks, set up camp and peel grapes!

Hmm, seems between 5 and 10 percent is about right though will have to wait until tomorrow to see what happens.

I reckon about 20% of people who left deposits. This is the average percentage of cancellations that a lot of ticket event/fun day out companies work on.

1 out of 4 of us has had to cancel.
