OneLittleFish
Did you take out the option of ticket cancellation insurance when you paid up? I think you might still be able to cancel right now anyway if you wanted to.

LRW
In all honestly, if my lady was 'preggers plays pop' I wouldn't let her go. I am overly protective though.

jollynolly
I did my second Glastonbury when I was 7 months pregnant (hides)( 18 years ago), just take it easy, try and get someone to do all the lugging for you from the car to the camp or invest in a trolley. Take a good camping chair, work out your must sees and plan ahead. It does help if you've been before as you have more idea of the scale of the site, but if not, theres always info. Make sure you know where the nearest welfare to your tent is. And use the pregnancy it to see a different side of the festival, circus, theater, comedy, away from the very crowded areas. alanc
Oh, and two other tips from my wife's Glasto pregnancy -- most years, there's a stall selling cheese sandwiches and milk near the main stage -- keep your calcium levels up. Also, some of the toilets are even less bearable than usual when pregnant (heightened sense of smell) -- the flushing loos up the top of the Pyramid field (near the Nat West Bank) are the best bet. weefreemen
Same thing happened to my friend, she was exactly 7 months gone. The plus side was that they got to park right near to the festival (just let the parking stewards know when you arrive). She had no problems apart from slight tiredness. She registered at the medical tent, they had practically a hospital ward inc. one of them machine thingy-me-bobs to scan your tummy if needed. We camped in a quietish area so that she could go to bed early, usually bout midnight. Because there was a few of us we took turns carrying heavy things for her and a chair in case she had to sit down and rest for a bit.She actually saw more of the festival than the rest of us as we were sometimes incapable of moving, preferring to stare into space and drool. Hope you decide to give it a go. Congratulations by the way!
Jint_Eye
you can still go! i remember reading in the programme about being at the festival if ur pregnant, i think u just need to make the nearest medical tent aware of the fact that ur pregnant and where you'll be camping, just in case anything happens!
