Refunds

I made a couple of stupid errors when booking tickets for Glasto. I didn't pay for the insurance. I also booked tickets with my girlfriend. We've since split up, and while it was amicable, there's no way heading to a festival together will happen.

Is there any way of getting her ticket refunded? It was booked on my card so if its possible, I should be able to it myself ,but I can't remember as I didn't look through the small print too finely.

Let this be a lesson to you romantics. Love doesn't last, certainly not until the festival season anyway.

From Glastonbury Official web page on their FAQs

Always a good Idea to start there before anywhere else!

Glast FAQs can be found here - how easy can it be??

And to save you the bother of going to the site here it is! :D

Can I get a refund if I return my tickets?

  • If you are unable to come to the Festival and require a refund for your ticket, please contact Seetickets at glastonbury@seetickets.com, or telephone 0844 412 4626 before midnight May 8th.

  • A £10 administration charge will be retained from all refunded tickets.

  • Tickets may not be transferred to another name. Should you be concerned you will be unable to attend the Festival due to unforeseen circumstances, you may wish to consider insuring your ticket.

Can I get a refund for my ticket after May 8th?

  • No. Tickets are non-refundable after the deadline of May 8th. However, if you bought insurance for your ticket and your reason for not being able to come is covered by the insurance policy you may be able to claim on your insurance.

Just as a note for those who did buy insurance, it isn't just insured if you decide not to go.

I've read comments on here which suggest you are so it's important to read the terms and conditions to check what you are and aren't insured for. It's not just refund insurance.

Seems like we do have a get out until 8th May though.
