A sad day!

With a heavy heart I didn't buy my ticket yesterday, but it wasn't due to forgetfulness.

Several circumstances cropped up that led me to a decision to give it a miss this year. A wedding to a good friend of my girlfriend in Germany (over the Glasto weekend), exploring her homeland and a mates band planing in Germany around that time. The combination of all of this and a few other things tipped the scales, but let me tell you it was a tough choice.

I love this festival, and this is the first one I'll have missed in 12 Glastos. So with a very heavy heart, I hope you all have a blast in the Vale this summer and I'm sad not to be joining you

I'm still going to put my two penneth worth on the boards, and will be back in the future. I've spent over a month of my life in the field of Worthy Farm, I will be back for more.

Gave it a miss last year and went to Reading instead. Wasn't bad but fairly missed Glasto

Sorry to hear that Hallamboy, i would be peed off if i had to miss a Glasto, it will probably happen one day though! You have probably spent nearer two months of your life at Worthy Farm though, hope that makes you feel better :angry:
