mike99
No more tickets until the 5th. I was hoping they might stay on sale till the end of the week. How many do we all think are left. I say 25,000 ish.

Kyelo
".....Michael Eavis, confirmed.....90% of tickets for this summer's event have been sold." That was on the 20th of January and would leave around 13,500 excluding any that didn't pay up before the sale today? So I am guessing less than that number now, not many left at all. http://www.efestivals.co.uk/news/09/090120a.shtml Edited February 2, 2009 by BenchBuddah

Alcatraz
... and yet you still find the need to start a thread about something that has been mentioned in another thread. Tell you what. Read some more threads, better yet, read the efestivals news and see that the estimations is that there is 13,500 tickets left for the April sale and not 25,000. It'll give you something else to start a new thread about!

The_Fish
"Thanks to everyone for keeping the faith; it's certainly shaping up to be another vintage year for Glastonbury Festival, with a brilliant line up to be unveiled in June." eFestivals
Nooooooooooooooooooooo I can't wait that long. That'll be the full line-up announcement - it's always made at the end of May/beginning of June (on the date the July edition of Q Mag hits the newsagents shelves). Last year they brought the announcement forwards as a way to help sell the tickets. I'm 99% sure that they'll be a headliner announcement before June tho. Expect it to be somewhen between the tickets that are on sale now going off-sale and tickets going back on sale on 5th April.
johnmcga
Anyone else think it's pretty damn impressive they've managed to sell out this early? They seem to have judged the ticket sales method and hype factor to perfection this time round. After last year's 'buy them up till the day before' issues and considering we're in the middle of a credit crunch, I'm really very impressed. Particularly given that they haven't officially announced any of the line up yet. Guess it just proves the festival is in rude health really. Only problem now is waiting until June!
