Who Will You be Seeing During the Run Up?

So, only what...? 4 months till June?

What bands/acts/artists/comedians etc. will you be seeing to entertain you over the next few months or even beyond?

I saw Bloc Party on saturday and I'm seeing Gaslight Anthem tomorrow.

In a strange way, I sort of hope that Bloc Party DO play Glasto, so that I DON'T have to go and see them. Not that they weren't good (they were great) but the more bands there are that I feel obliged to see at Glasto the less time I'll have to wander around and 'go with the flow'. So now if Bloc Party do play I can say 'Done that' and wander around aimlessly instead. :P

- Who's everyone seeing?

- Is there anyone you've decided not to see in hope that they'll be playing in June? i.e Springsteen

- Is everything else overshadowed by Glasto?

- Is anyone starving themselves of live music in the run up?

What's everyone doing to pass the time? :(

I too saw Bloc Party, but in Manchester on Thursday. They announced a new tour today for those interested.

Off to see Russell Brand on Friday, then Maybe Glasvegas, Friendly Fires, Florence & the Machine and White Lies on Saturday in Manc.

Then Late of the Pier on Valentines day (a get out clause from seeing the new gf... YES!!).

Russell Howard the week before Glasto, and Oasis 6th June.

I have tickets to see Elbow, The Vaselines and Late of the Pier in March, Bat for Lashes, Bob Dlyan and PJ Harvey with John Parish in April, Morrissey in May and then a couple of smaller, more local gigs (Mumford and Sons, Peggy Sue and the Pirates and Beth Jeans Houghton on Wednesday, and the Miserable Rich later on this month)

Would also like to catch Art Brut on their spring tour, but I'm pretty much totally skint now hah! Its worth it though

he is and he is planning on playing the smaller types of venues he first played when he came over here touring for the first time, i was lucky enough to see his first ever gig in the UK in a pub/club in my town i few years back and they are trying to get him back there again this year.

(that f**king special K advert on the left of the screen keeps maximizing and is pissing me right off)

Likewise, although I'd like to point out that it's on the right of my screen. Something you may wish to check. :( it covers up half the text that you're trying to read and doesn't like going away either. In fact, I have the problem everytime I head over to the scroll bar.

My road to Glastonbury '09 is as below. It's a little bare at the moment! I don't even like Fight Like Apes that much but I've been starved of live action recently so I'll pop down to see them.

I fully expect Bloc Party to play though and I shall be seeing them both in London and at Glastonbury.
