Last.fm tells me before Glasto I'm currently going to Mills at Dublin Castle this month, Elbow at Wembley / Doves at the Forum / Mr Hudson at the Scala in March, Airborne Toxic Event at Kings / Duke Special at the Scala in April so far.

I dare say I'll squeeze a few more in before then though.

So, only what...? 4 months till June? :O

What bands/acts/artists/comedians etc. will you be seeing to entertain you over the next few months or even beyond?

I saw Bloc Party on saturday and I'm seeing Gaslight Anthem tomorrow.

In a strange way, I sort of hope that Bloc Party DO play Glasto, so that I DON'T have to go and see them. Not that they weren't good (they were great) but the more bands there are that I feel obliged to see at Glasto the less time I'll have to wander around and 'go with the flow'. So now if Bloc Party do play I can say 'Done that' and wander around aimlessly instead. B)

- Who's everyone seeing?

- Is there anyone you've decided not to see in hope that they'll be playing in June? i.e Springsteen

- Is everything else overshadowed by Glasto?

- Is anyone starving themselves of live music in the run up?

What's everyone doing to pass the time? :D

Late of the Pier in Bath tonight - I'm worried about driving though!!!

Animal Collective in March.

Camden Crawl in April (hopefully see some good new bands that will be gracing the Park and John Peel stages come June)

Bon Iver, Holy f**k, Deerhunter, Foals, Zach Hill, Soft Pack etc at ATP Minehead in May.

And whatever else catches my eye.

I'm supposed to be seeing the Gaslight Anthem tonight but in a way I'm hoping it gets cancelled because we live 45 minutes to an hour away from Birmingham, which, at 6pm tonight in the snow, could take a lot longer. Has anyone else had their social plans scupppered by the snow?

The Specials at Brum Academy, Doves at Coventry Kasbah & Bearded Theory fest. I'm sure there'll be a few more along the way though.

US tours don't usually get announced until a month or two before they are set to happen, atleast with British bands, and that's all I usually end up seeing. So right now I've only got the following lined up:

2/6 - Los Campesinos - my student union

4/2 - White Lies, Friendly Fires - Triple Rock, Minneapolis

4/30 - The Killers - The Rave, Milwaukee

5/9 - The Kills - The Metro, Chicago

and I'm 100% positive I will be seeing Franz Ferdinand and Maximo Park when they announce tours, I'm just impatiently waiting for that to happen right now.

Marmaduke Duke; Camden Crawl; Specials. All London. I'm sure there are a couple of others, but I can't remember them -- they'll just be pleasant surprises when they tickets turn up. :)

-- Knew there was someone else, Jools Holland. :-D
