just one thing may i add....seetickets normally dont add northern ireland dates, i reckon if hes playing here before or after that slot he may not play.....i would rather see bb king at glasto as pyramid 2nd headliner....itd be hilarious watching the 18 year olds faces..see talent for a change..

and btw I might be wrong, but I would expect John Mayall to play seperately, not with BB

Would guess it'll be similar to when BB toured with gary moore 3 years ago, with moore just the support act.

so if both were to play glasto, I'd think they'd take two slots. Might be wrong on that tho.

Now i love Blues, but was so dissapointed in Buddy Guy last year,ok i only saw the TV clips, but he just played to the audience and cameras,no feeling anymore,to much show-boating...never seen a bluesman playing guitar with a drumstick or with his teeth. I went to the NEC about three years ago to see what was suposed to be BB Kings last UK tour :) he's another who plays polished set shows, just so boring. As much as i love the Blues i would rather see Mr Young.

might've been stood next to you then...I was front row, dead dead centre for buddy. I really enjoyed it personally. He was a showman enjoying himself and whilst I agree with the others in that it was a fair amount of showboating, it was still an entertaining show with some top playing.

Regards BB, they might be the same licks, but the tone is still beautiful, and was such a contrast to the too busy gary moore who supported him on the tour I saw 2-3 years back.

was quite funny seeing the sustain fest that is parisienne walkways mind.
