Having recently discovered White Lies, we're wondering whether they might possibly be appearing?

If not, at least we're going to see them at the O2 with Snow Patrol......

I've downloaded some as I'm going to see them as part of the NME tour. The singles are okay but the rest if v ropey and that's coming from someone who's prepared to admit quite liking Editors.

They do sound like the Bravery too.

i really don't understand the hype with this band, unbelievably average imo.

i was pretty dissapointed after everything i'd heard!

I think they are v v good.

I am seeing them on the NME tour soon and I also expect to be catching them at glasto.

As far as the bravery go, very average band who I caught live once and it turns out they weren't too bad after all! good front man live.

Odd one White Lies. I have similar taste to my brother in music, there's not a lot that we disagree on but he's not so keen on White Lies but I love the album. Must be a Marmite thing.

Saw them last night in Brum on the NME tour, they were OK but Friendly Fires blew them out the water.

Got free tickets to see these guys at the Borderline in London on Monday; don't know much by them, they seem to be getting mixed reviews but we shall see.

Well if you are going to spread Marmite on your CDs it is going to affect the sound a bit...

I don't get the Editors comparisons. I've listened to, and seen live, both bands and they're totally different. White Lies are more like a noisier version of Ultravox than any of the other bands that they tend to get compared with (Joy Division/Echo) which is a more suitable comparison for Editors.

Anyway, Editors were tarred with the epithet Boy Division, which I kind of like

Their first US tour is next month (we get tons of foreign bands over in March/April because of SXSW and Coachella) with Friendly Fires, I've got tickets to the Minneapolis show, and I'm excited...though seeing them in a crowd that is a little bit bigger than like 10 anglophile hipsters would be nice, so I do hope they play Glasto as well!
