According to that reputable source of all knowledge, The Sun (*cough*), Paul Young, Bruce Springsteen and Blur will be headliners at the 2009 festival.

Paul Young is currently recording a new album with Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet & Peter Cox of Go West, for release in the New Year, so we can possibly expect some guests on stage with him for a few songs. At this time of year, his hit, "Love of the Common People" is being played on most music channels, but his most played single is probably his re-make of "Wherever I Lay My Hat (that's my home)", the Marvin Gaye classic that stayed at number 1 in the UK charts for 3 weeks in the early 80's.

Bruce Springsteen is probably most famous in the UK for his 1984 hit, "Born in the U.S.A" which reached number 5 in the UK charts, but he's had so many hits since the early 80's that we won't even start to real them off.

And, of course, we've already talked about Blur at Glastonbury 2009, and would be really happy if it is, in fact, true!

Think I still have casette of No Parlez at home somewhere lol. His cover of Joy Division's "Love will tear us apart" wasn't the best
