I never thought it'd happen so soon but Blink just announced reformation live at the Grammys;

And their website www.blink182.com says Summer 09. I'm quite positive they could sell out every venue in the country 3 times over but Leeds/Reading is a bit of a possibility now!

I think that they are quite fun on record, but when I saw them at Wembley Arena, before they broke up, they were terrible. They couldn't sing if they wanted too. Did I just catch them on a bad night?

Actually, the funniest thing about that gig was when I wandered into the arena and found all the (mainly) kids sitting crossed legged like at a school assembly, because they had been told to by the stewards. I nearly pissed myself laughing.

Never really saw the fuss about Blink. Overrated, immature "sk8 punx" toss. And Tom DeLonge's voice could inspire the most brutal of murders.

I would have thought they would already have booked the three by now, but if not I certainly see them at least trying to get Blink 182.

Will be a joint headliner next year. Cause R+L will copy Glasto and try and do a double headliner night with 2 reasonably big bands.

Next year not this year. Plus there are few bands who are headliner quality so having 2 that are nearing that status eg Blink and Lostprophets is somewhat likely and will please enough people.
