Been positive for the past few weeks now and its still looking good. After a damp introduction to glasto in 04 the 05 deluge and 07 mud slog was a nightmare. Still had a great time but last year showed me how great Glastonbury can be when its dry.

One thing that is for sure is that we're very likely to have warm if not down right balmy night time temps...... Many a festival have caught me out and I've shiverd my self to sleep.

TWO http://www.theweatheroutlook.com/ have updated their front page headline tonight with a promising:

Summer Loving

(Updated: Sunday 17:07)

Two iconic British summer events begin this week with Wimbledon and Glastonbury on the way, and for a change the weather is set to play ball with increasingly warm and settled weather on the way as high pressure builds in.

To start the week though, the high pressure isn't quite in position to influence the weather too heavily, so there will be some showers around. During Monday, these are most likely to develop in northern and eastern parts of the country, elsewhere it's dry but fairly cloudy with temperatures heading up above 20°c in many areas.

Into Tuesday, again there will be the odd shower to content with, but perhaps with a little more sunshine and in turn temperatures may just climb a little higher than Monday's values.

It's as we move into the midweek period that the high pressure really takes charge, so expect good sunny spells and watch those temperatures heading up into and possibly beyond the mid-twenties toward the end of the week.

Keep an eye out tomorrow (Monday) for detailed Glastonbury and Wimbledon forecasts, with the Wimbledon rain tracker also returning.

Figers crossed!!!!

BORIS! Ha ha ha ha thanks for the football clip., that's classic!

Then I watched the "Ping Pong" speech at the end of the Olympics, Seb Coe cracking up at the "Chinese excelling at Ping Pong" made me proper laugh! Then wanting to bring back the ancient sport involving carrying, slaying and eating an ox!
