never beleive the bbc weather. In the past ive watched them say theres rain in liverpool and looked out the window and it was cracking the flags!

Worthy FM this morning around 11ish had been told to expect 3 hours of solid rain this very afternoon from 1 til 4. Well I've been watching their own webcam on and off all day and there hasn't been a spot as far as I can tell.

Just goes to show how hit-and-miss all these forecasts can be - even in a 12-hour time-frame !

doesnt look too bad....if i remember correctly....thursday night it pissed down, right through to friday afternoon ...granted it was only heavy till about 2 or 3 am, but it definately was raining well into friday...

i think itll be a repeat of last year only a day behind

That seems to confirm the general trend which is emerging. Wednesday and Thursday not so bad. Friday is going to be the worst day. A bit of rain on Saturday too, but not that bad. The main change seems to be the re-appearence of larger amounts of rain on Sunday, something which seems to have been out of the picture for a while now.

The actual quantity of rain doesn't look stunningly bad.

Whats amazing me is how rain seems to be forming perfectly over Somerset, whilst the rest of the UK remains dry!!
