Some of the netweather peeps seem to think things may be taking a fairly sizable turn for the better going on these comments

well the 12z is out to t162 and shows a possible new development much inline with gp and others predictions. pressure rising over the continent and ito scandinavia. i hope this is the start of a new trend and 'summer' is on the way!

Metcheck have put up forecast's for the friday/saturday/sunday, looking good.

Not that this is definitive, a long way still to go, but, all forecasts are starting to look much much better for the festival week.

In fact, the GFS this morning (0Z run) inspired me to create this animation of max temps throughout the festival.

That forecast would give us the best weather since 2003..
