theres a 12.30am curfew, all festival goers must be in their tents by this time and asleep by 1am, anyone making noise after this time will receive a stern telling off from the security guards and repeat offenders will have their parents called to come and collect them  so behave and forget any ideas about raves!

Shangri-La was great on Saturday last year. There was a tiny little venue called The Pub and on the saturday had a Joe Strummer night with some really great bands playing to packed crowds of about 50 haha. It was immense. This was at like 3-4AM.

Just wander and you will find the most magical and joyful events all night every night, nothing planned and nothing the same...................... The festival comes alive at night................. Wooooooooooo Can't wait............. Had to miss out last year, which was the first break in 12 years (including rest years)............ Come on 2009...........................

Last year I only managed to sleep between about 6am and 12noon* - the rest of the time there was just too much to do! So don't worry about places to hang out after midnight as there are infinite possibilities.

Just a few of my favourites:

- Small World Stage, bottom of green futures field

- Bimble Inn, previously the tipi field last year at The Park

- Moonbeam Cafe, just the opposite side of the old railway track from Avalon field

- Strummerville

- the pub in Shangri-La (shame it won't be there this year)

- the tea light circle in the green craft field

and of course Kings Meadow

* my friends will tell you that this is nothing short of miraculous as when at home I'm a real in bed by 11pm kind of girl!!
