I know Copping is supposed to have said they might not seperate Prodigy and Pendulum, but am i the only one who thinks they'd be terrible on the main stage? Not least, fourth on the bill. By all accounts last year was a poor year, but they still have Biffy Clyro and Disturbed playing in that slot, both of those are bigger than Pendulum surely?

i kind of agree... i really enjoyed Pendulum last year cos i love a bit of dance music now n then, but i really don't think they qualify as 4th on the mainstage!

edit - in fact, i can't really see them being above Dragonforce for that matter, tho i can understand the theory of keeping Pendulum and Prodigy together.

Ascendancy is a good album, but i hope not. It would hardly be the greatest end to a festival ever (Don't hate, but I thought the LP did an alright job at it last year).

I imagine it's going to be something along the lines of....

Friday:

Guns N' Roses

Faith No More

Korn

Limp Bizkit

Second:

Killswitch Engage

Dragonforce

Saturday:

Slipknot

Marilyn Manson

The Prodigy

Pendulum (though i hope not)

Second:

Motley Crue

Sunday:

Def Leppard

Whitesnake

ZZ Top

Journey

Second:

Trivium

Papa Roach

I know the guy from Papa Roach said they'd be on the side stage with ZZ Top, but i would be totally stunned if that were the case.

Are Prodigy defently on the main stage then?....3rd from top seems a bit low down for them and they would be playing in complete daylight which doesnt suit them  I would of thought they would headline the 2nd stage whilst Slipknot were on as they are totally different bands

still makes me feel ill that prodigy arn't headlining after lostprophets did last year, they should be playing in a late night slot after slipknot really, they're the band that you watch and it feels like a massive party. Still don't understand how download hasn't been granted next a late night license, can't be noise pollution it's next to a bloody airport lol.

From the Download boards the booker of bands says this

''I intend to have the three main stage acts on each of the main days to have their logos and the headline act of the second stage each day to have their logos on the artwork. Everyone else will be in block text. ''

So there you go

Looking like the poster pretty much tells you who's playing where

"Download favourites Trivium are back to rock the main stage yet again with a brand new selection of songs from new album Shogun, which went straight into the UK Top 20 upon release last September"

Main Stage Sunday for Trivium then, i'd imagine just before ZZ Top.
