i am surprised by this, but i suppose its another way to bring back the blur v oasis headline for the media....im seeing oasis at wembley with kasabian/enemy so im looking forward to seeing who would go up against them on other stages.

also this may be oasis only uk festival appearance, but with their massive stadium tour its hardly an exclusive is it and they are headlining benacissm? unless V consider Killers the exlusive out of the two?

This sucks big time. I have being going to V every year since 2000, and bought my ticket for this year like I always do after a few days after the last festival. Why do we keep getting the same headliners year after year. Oasis I can handle and are usually good live. The killers were terrible last time and will no doubt be the same again this year. Why not someone different for once? Greenday, QOTSA, etc......

This will be the last year I go unless V pull it out of the bag with the 2nd stage headliners.

yea i no people laugh at razorlight but noone can deny that they were ever not thought of to be there, although they may have killed theirselves a bit with the last album.

arctic monkeys are which ever way you look at it a great live band and one of the biggest british and all round bands in thw world.

I actually think this is pretty good. Yes there are a few morons that follow Oasis but they are bound to have bought tickets to see them at their own gigs this year.

What we have is two of the biggest band around, who both have their own sell out tours this year. Along with other bands that look possible at the moment it is looking like it could be a pretty good line up. I just hope that V havn't spent too much getting these two so that the rest of the line up is weak.

Any way I will be having a foooooking good time what ever the line up.

:):)

This is weak IMO, Killers have raped the UK fests over the past few years & Oasis are doing their own massive your with the same bands as will be at V. Lazy booking.

Roll on the numerous threads stating how it doesn't matter who plays, they'll have a great time anyway etc. & that's the exact customers the organisers love.

It the equivalent of paying to go to a top restaurant & finding out you're eating the same food that you could've cooked yourself.
