fly into inverness, but then what?

hi there, hoping to make it to rockness again, after getting completly hooked watching fat boy slim last year.

this year i've managed to persuade about 6 of my mates to come with me so we propose to fly up, but once we get to inverness airport, will there be regular buses going to and from the festival?

another 'little' problem will be the fact that we will be restricted with the amount of weight were aloud on the plane, so our supplies (crates of booze, fags, rizla, and 24 pack of wotsits) will have to be bought once we land, so where could we do that if were getting straight on a bus from the airport?

or should we loose the tents and bags, and just bring the alcohol instead lol

If you get a taxi from the airport then you'll pass a massive Tesco on the way to Inverness.

If you get a bus from the airport then there is a Morrison's in the city centre, not too far from the bus station.

how far is it from the airport then? is it possible to just jump in a tax i and go straight to the festival? or would you reccomend airport > (taxi) inverness > (bus) rockness .

How much is a taxi from the airport?

I need to use Inverness airport this year for flying from Southampton and staying in a B+B in town so land at 8.10pm so need to get into town quick to get drunk :-)

By the looks of the timetable, and the time of your flight, you'll end up with a taxi unless your flight's delayed!

lincolnshire, near (dare i say) Grimsby. we'll fly from east midlands though. i cant see the taxi, 17miles or so being that expensive if its split 6 ways mind

i think its part of hootenannys. never been there before so not sure of the layout or if its any good.
