Taylor Swift is confirmed for V this year. She said on radio 1 she was playing festivals this summer and her manager confirmed to some fans yesterday that she is playing V festival. Most people probably won't have heard of her but she was the biggest selling artist in the US last year if that helps hah

Noo she sounds different to miley cyrus..miley is alot more pop whereas Taylor is orignally a country artist but I think she is being marketed as a pop artist over here in the UK because not many people like country. And she hangs around with all the disney pop artists hah..but she is definately better than all of them

I have no idea who she is but, come on guys you can't really moan about pop acts being at V they've always been there since the start of the millenium, its the only place that pop acts can play alongside guitar bands and dance acts and all fit in well together

V has always has a big mix of pop, indie and dance, it trys to add some rock and hip hop sometimes too

And I like it for that reason, Im going download as well for my rock needs, you don' t have to watch the pop acts, theres plenty of stuff going on, but yeah I will agree they are adding more pop as the years go by but these acts pull in huge crowds and they probably don't ask for as huge a fee as big guitar based bands so really its a no brainer for V to book them

I don't mind pop acts as long as they are good pop acts
