Given the tendency of people to be twunts, deliberately or otherwise, is it worth you taking occasional backups, robith, by coping the playlist to one that isn't shared? Maybe you're doing this already, in which case I'll shut up

Going forwards, once the line-up is confirmed, I suppose it would be wicked to have themed playlists.. there could be one for Dance Village, one for Jazz World etc. In fact, hell, who needs the fest when we can just sit at home with Spotify :D

Cheers for this robith

hope you don't mind but I put in fleetwood mac's "rhiannon" and deleted the "rhiannon and the rumours" cover version,

added a few other things:

bb king - how blue can you get

bon iver - re:stacks

white stripes - ball & biscuit, dead leaves and dirty ground

fleetwood mac - rhiannon, you make loving fun

neil young - motion pictures, down by the river, southern man, man needs a maid, ohio, helpless, like a hurricane, for the turnstles, and possibly don't let it bring you down tho can't remember if that was me or not (I won't add anymore Young, I promise, but they needed adding!)

doves - man who told everything

crosby, stills, nash - carry on

not sure we needed 23 doves songs?

Can understand the headliners having a good collection, but other bands should probably be about 8 songs max really I'd say.

tis more a resource to find whether we'll enjoy that act to search out more, so best to keep it to some of their best songs, not whole albums pretty much.

keep "man who told everything",,,I added that one ...and no chance their playing a 23 song set :D

apologies, as didn't want to come across as spotify police or anything, but just thinking we've got potentially 1000 acts that are gonna be added, and if it becomes too clustered then, it'll become much less useful than a small selection of each...there's hotlinks so can click on the album and listen to the rest if something does take one's fancy.

Just want to say this is absolutely fudging brilliant! Now I can have a mini glastonbury and find out a bit more about some of the artists I knew nothing about. Thank you so much Robith and everyone else who has been adding tracks to the playlist!

This Spotify thing is cool, just got it. Gonna have a play about with it for a bit. Cheers for putting the playlist together, i've not heard of hardly any of the announced acts at glasto so this should give me some insight.

EDIT: Quite like Crosby, Stills and Nash which I wasn't expecting. Jury is still out on Neil Young though.

Hmm, I'm a tad worried as more of the line up is announced this is getting a bit unwieldy. Any cares on limiting the number of songs per artist? 5?6? It just seems some artists are a bit overloaded, and it's meant to be an introduction to them, not every band's entire discography!

Once we get the full line up, having that with say 5 songs an artists and then more extensive ones by stage would be a lot more manageable
