Rock im Park

Hi,

Anyone out there doing Rock im Park '09?

All the talk seems to be about Rock am Ring, which I did last year and had 6 of the best days of my life. This year we've decided to do RiP and see how it compares, and also because it seems a bit easier to get to from here (Ireland).

My tickets arrived yesterday (delighted ). Thinking of flying to Munich on the Monday or Tuesday before to spend a couple of days there, then get a train to Nurnburg on the Thursday to set up camp at the fest.

So yeah, anyone out there done it before? anyone done both RaR and RiP and could compare them? also any useful hints & tips about RiP?

I went to RAR last year so i couldnt say what comparisons there are aprt from i think where the arena is its grassy - unlike RAR which is on tarmac --- quite uncomfortable on the ass to be fair if you wanna sit for a few bands! I would prefer grass.

That is the only thing i know...
