Even though they have their own forum im just coming on here and saying a big thank you and well done to the organisers for this years Download line up

It's gunna be my first and boy it looks a belter

The line up really, going by bands doing the rounds I don't think they could have done much better

If they add a good Friday headliner and Lacuna Coil & Black Tide then it will be awesome

Theres so many acts I want to see on the line up, a very happy punter here

I agree, I've been to every download except last year because the line up was truly awful but this year they have won me back! I might get a t-shirt too!!

so far i'm WELL happier with the line-up than this time last year and there's still plenty of time... just need a few unexpected very hard rocking bands (Misfits, Meshuggah, Entombed, Monster Magnet, Electric Wizard, Clutch, etc) and it might be a total stormer!

Felt the urge to add to this thread. This will be my first Download (usually do Leeds & V). The line-up is absolutely superb, so much that unless Leeds pull something out of the bag our early bird tickets are getting Ebayed.

The Sunday line-up of classic rock & power ballads just seems like a genius end to the weekend.

I agree with all the above, i've only been once before in 06 but mainly because my wife is more of a glastonbury person we go around alot of festivals but cos the line-up is so good she's persuading me to go to Download.

i've been going to reading since 1995, and i've pretty much made my mind up to go to download instead this year, in fact, there's no competition really. i never thought i'd say that!

line-up is brilliant, especially if faith no more are confirmed.

Glad to see so many people sharing my thoughts, IMO Download has the best line up this year for me, nothing can touch it, makes me think though, how will they follow it in 2010? ha ha

Last year the lineup wasn't so good which was a bit of a shame, but I still went. Gotta say Kiss was amazing and made up for the rest.

However, this year looks amazing and I agree, the organisers seem to have done a sterling job. I'm not going to Reading this year, just so I have more cash for Download to get even more wasted than usual

I just wanna see what the arena looks like this year. Last year it was terrible. Hated it. Shame as i loved the old arena so much. The views from the stage looking up at the hill and beyond must of been amazing.

I made the decision last night that I will do Readiing whatever the line-up as Ive already booked the time off work and know I would be wishing I was there if i dont go... toying with the idea of sonisphere but not sure I can get time of work that week due to a deadline. Plus its quite expensive for a 2 day fest.
