DaleM
So Eavis has booked an act from the NME awards as being Friday night headliner. The same day he's chosen a 'commemorative' headliner to mark the festivals anniversary. This makes me think... Friday: The Libertines Saturday: The Cure Sunday: Radiohead The Libertines because... well they're always at Glastonbury in some form, and their reunion is inevitable. The Cure because... what's more commemorative than getting the headline act from 20 years ago back to headline again? That and they were amazing last night. Radiohead because... well someone had to say it! Thoughts? Who do you think we'll be seeing next year?
eFestivals
So Eavis has booked an act from the NME awards as being Friday night headliner. Nope. He's booked an act via an agent that was at the nme awards. But I doubt it's as firm a booking as he's suggested - June 2010 is a long way off, and too much can change between now and then.
