Tickets...?

Hey folks, first post and all that, but a festival veteran of many years standing. What with Download having possibly the most pathetic line up I have ever seen at a festival (even with FNM being there), Sonisphere is looking like a real posssibility for me and some of my mates, despite the price. It will only take a a couple more announcements for me to buy a ticket (NIN, Jane's….FNM?....I wish).

So question is, how well are tickets selling? I'm so used to everything selling out so quickly and eBay being flooded with scalpers and blaggers, that the good old days of being to buy tickets closer to the actual event date seem to be long gone.

As this is a new festival, I can't see this selling out quickly, but maybe someone on here can comment?

Hey man, yea i remember the days of being able to get tickets the week before too. I doubt if they're close to selling out yet but reckon all it'll take is one big announcement to have them sell out in a week

I can't really see any big announcements happening that would cause a rush for tickets. Unless Faith No More get announced, which, sadly, I can't see happening. Damn you Download

I reckon all it would take is for the NIN/Janes combo to happen and we're all there like a shot. When's the next announcement due, any ideas? Can't find any info

Leave them alone, they need all the good bands they can get!! They need em more than us!!

I hope they get added! that would make Sonisphere for me.

Metallica, AIC, NIN (when they announce them), FNM. I think I just messed myself!!

It would be good to see some quality 'smaller' bands added too, like Clutch or maybe High On Fire
