Last year my missus (DaisyLou) finally managed to persuade me to go to Glastonbury (I'm a bit of a shower three times a day in the summer when sticky hygiene freak). Needless to say I'm coming back this year ... and the year after, the year after that ... . (Wet wipes and frankly not giving a sh*t because I'm having an utterly ace time, got my over my sanitation issues.) Because we picked the tickets up about a month before after a drunken post-gig internet session (the singer happily announcing that they'd be performing at said awesome festival) I wasn't entirely au fait with the Brothers phenomenon. Imagine my surprise when popping to my Polish and South African specialising local paper shop this morning to find both pear and strawberry Brothers cider. Needless to say I purchased a bottle of each. I know it's not festival strength. I know I'm not at Glastonbury. I know I'll be closing my eyes and pretending though! My virginity will soon be a thing of the past .

Managed through my super sly methods to get my mates into triple kirks in aberdeen "because its near the cash machines" "its cheap" "x y and z can meet us there" real reason Brothers strawberry cider!

My mates took the advice of the barman and had st heilers pear and blueberry cider cause apparently it tastes like those freeze pops (in the plastic tubes you froze at home) you used to get as a kid i was less than impressed

By the time I get to Glasto I wont have drank for nearly 3 months making that first taste of Brothers all the better! Cant wait, a pint of pear followed by a pint of strawberry! And after that length of time without alcohol I'll probably be ready to be dragged back to my tent in a drunken mess! Let the good times roll... :P:O

Pah...Burrowhill Hot & Spicy all the way! You can get the festy spirit of Brothers all year round these days but there's nothing like the first taste of H&S after 51 long dry weeks! :P It is what dreams are made of and a reason I travel 11000 miles for the pleasure!

As an aside comment, you can get Brothers all year round these days but not Festival strength nor does it some with the Somerset Jazz World wind blowing through your hair!
