Def Leppard

Very little discussion about the closing act to the festival, what are everyone's thoughts on 'The Leppard'?

I've never seen them but they're my unles faviourite band & therefore I got a Def Leppard album for my birthday since the age of 10. Read some comments on here from people saying they're past it now & don't cut it live anymore? I'm pretty excited about Whitesnake + Def Leppard combo.

I'd happily watch them, though if I train it up to Download i'll probably have to leave before them.

Never been a fan.But they will be good guarantee it. Dragged along to see them think it was `86 or `87 by my old man really good live just not my thing.

not for me but then i barely know much by them, i won't judge them till i see them or check out some of the albums, i do respect the fact that they're pretty legendary. but i'm hoping for a decent 2nd or 3rd stage headliner that night. still praying for Devildriver.

I haven't seen Def Leppard Live for years, (or Whitesnake, for that matter) but I won't be missing them. I'll be gutted if they aren't any good live anymore, but that didn't used to be the case.

Someone must have faith in them, surely? There must be plenty of people at Download old enough to have seen them before, and if they weren't good enough any more surely they'd be shouting about it? All the reports I've read from the Leppard/Whitesnake tour have been favourable.......... Im looking forward to it.

I saw them at Hammersmith Apollo a couple of years back and they f**king rocked the place.

Can't say I'm a huge fan of their music but as a live show it was pretty special. I expect they'll make a great headliner at Download.
