Nope, they are exclusives somewhere else.

But they did headline the leeds friday/reading sunday in 2000.

2000 sunday reading

* Stereophonics

* Placebo

* Slipknot

* Rage Against the Machine

* Blink 182

* Daphne and Celeste

* A

* Supersuckers

* Cay

* My Vitriol

there is a precedent. And the bands on that day probably dick over most of the other sundays. (other than daphne and celeste)

...though i dont think Daphne and Celeste were that year anyways, i think thats a wikipedia mistake

Don't see why not, they're not all that much different to the pumpkins when you think about it. Heaviness wise anyway.

They probably heavier numbers than Pearl Jam too- The Bends, Electioneering, 2+2=5, Paranoid Android, Just, Creep.

In fact thinking about it and looking at it, they're miles more "heavy' than Pearl Jams and the Pumpkins put toghether, if you think about it, looking at those records. A set list full of their heavy numbers catering to the Reading crowd would be truly fantastic

Hmm, I wouldn't agree there to be fair. Yes Radiohead have some loud guitar songs but none of them are particuly 'heavy' in sound. Songs like Tales of a Scorched earth or X.Y.U or pretty much any of the Machina Albums are heavier then anything radiohead have done. Also in regards to Pearl Jam songs like Go have a much heavier and aggresive sound then Radiohead.

I understand what your saying, Radiohead do have some loud guitar songs and if they wanted could do a much rockier set but think your way off thinking they are heavier then ether Pearl Jam or the Pumpkins.
