Emily has said that they will be expanding into whether the Leftfield was. But surely they're extremely far apart? Unless there will be like a second place curated by the same people, kind of like a Shangri-La 2

Was everything free in Trash City / Shangri-La last year? I remember in 2007 there was a place in Trash City that charged a door-fee, something about moustaches as well.

Technically your right, you had to pay like £2 or something for a tash to get into the Downlow bar or whatever it was. It was worth it just for the tash though

I mind in the very early hours of Monday morning me and my mates were standing outside the Downlow place pretty mashed when a couple of dudes were scrambling about the grass looking for something... i was wondering what they were upto (thought they were mayby trying to find peoples wallets or something) so i asked "what are you`s looking for?" to which the boy replied "my moustache mate" as you can imagine being in the state we were in we thought we were imagining this, we then we found out we needed the tashes to get into the place and you bought them on the door

I remember the thread well. That was a shame, the people charging reckoned it was for charity, but I never came across anyone charging in 2008

Last year they were trying to charge people to get into that Tilted Disco place on monday morning, they said it was for these crappy cardboard glasses that you got, I just paid up and got the glasses but some of my mates, quite rightly refused to pay and said that they didn't want the glasses and tried to just walk in, and I remember the security getting a bit angry with them for refusing to pay. They got in in the end but wasn't really in the 'glasto spirit'.

If I recall, the cardboard glasses meant that you could queue-jump. You could still go in without paying.
