Ritee, first time actually buying the tickets the time they are released soo i dont really know what to expect. Planning on either Ticketmaster or See tickets which ever i get through quickest.

Soo what are the tactics ..

Does being a member of that site help you ?

The earlier you go on the website.. like 9am ? does it effect your chance in buying them.. and where do you wait from then onwards. ? Just on the main page of that site ?

Having more computers running ?

Is it a refresh button job every minute or so ?

Or any other ways in which im gaurenteed tickets.. early as possible

Thankss

DON'T PRESS REFRESH BEFORE 10AM!!

get online about 9.30, stay on the website, justleave it, then at 10am click F5 and it should change to the order screen, then type faster than you have ever typed before! One time they sold out before I had a chance to finish putting in my card details!!

On ticketmaster you have to have an account, so you will be as well setting one up prior and logging in prior to booking the tickets. Just a little reassurance in my opinion. But even if you don't I should be almost certain that if you don't eff around you'll get yer tickets.

Go to... http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/1F0041...mp;minorcatid=1

Thats for Weston Park (you can pick your site.)

http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/1F0041...mp;minorcatid=1

For Red Camping Chelmsford.

http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/1F0041...mp;minorcatid=1

For Yellow Campsite Chelmsford.

When tickets are available all these pages become active.

Whatever you do DON'T refresh your page. You will go to the back of the queue. And don't have two windows open loading the same tickets, it will cancel both of them out.

And F5 is the 'refresh' button.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but better to add to an exsisting than starting a fresh..

Does anybody know how many tickets can be purchased by one card on Friday? I know the pre sales only allow four per customer, but i was wondering if on the day more would be allowed...

Thanks

See doesn't have a queue system, it just f**ks up and takes forever, until eventually the page loads. So essentially I guess you're waiting, but that 'cos its running slow, no other reason.

I bought my tickets for V last yr on June 5th, so I shouldn't worry too much if you miss the first batch. I doubt you will anyhow. At midday they will stop selling them and say 'sold out' then gradually release the thousands they haven't actually sold.

It's not that bad getting V tickets to be honest. I got my 2007 ones well after the on sale date, just checked Seetickets every day or so. Last year got the Muse presale ones but even at 10-11am I was able to get on see and get tickets for a friend.

As stated above, the reason refresh doesn't work is that when you get to a "busy" page, you'll just refresh that when you refresh/F5. Once you have the link to the page you need, set it as you home page in multiple tabs in Firefox then just hit "home" until you get on the site.

I've managed tickets for the last 2 Glastonbury's inside 30 minutes by just being patient and hitting the page time after time.

Yes, xerox, it does. If you have two windows queueing on ticketmaster, they both cancel themselves out. Just have one window open on Ticketmaster, one window on Seetickets, and one window on Ticketline (if they're selling this year, they did last yr.)

In all honesty I don't think you'll have a problem before midday. But then they take em off a declare it a sell out so as to brag popularity. THey then release the thousands left slowly in batches.
