Hey all,

Might be able to get VIP tickets althought not guaranteed however this would be after the 'first batch' are sold out and in a couple weeks time. However i dont want to miss out on tickets, do you know when the 'second batch' might go on sale?

Would you wait to see if you can get VIP tickets which would be same price as normal tickets and if not chance getting them in the second batch, or just book the tickets on Friday? Just don't want to risk not getting any tickets, that is the problem.

We were told that we may get some VIP tickets last year. Glad I didn't wait for them because they never came to light and also, everybody with VIP tickets said it wasn't much good anyway and only really good for using loos, so that's one bonus I suppose.

Person i know works for V and i'm pretty certain they can be got, however not sure she can get 4. I dont know, just worried about taking the risk and maybe missing out on tickets.

book tickets friday, if you get vip tickets, flog your original ones on ebay.

Will i be able to make my money back though that is the question. If i brought 4 tickets what will be the demand for them?

Edit - When i say that, i'm not doing it to make money just to get money back if that's the case.

You buying them for chelms or staffs? Chelms will probably sell out friday, and you will almost certainly make your money back, no worries. look at what they're selling for already on ebay.

if you are going to staffs, demand isn't so high, and it's more of a risk. To be honest, I personally couldn't be arsed with the bother and would just book them Friday.

I spoke to someone that had vip tickets last year and they said they would never bother again. You have to camp in a diffrent campsite to everyone else which hasnt got as good atmosphere as the others. You dont get to meet the artists which everyone thinks you can. Only bonus they said was the toilets as mentioned above but they are exactly same toilets that are in the union garden which cost 10p for the weekend (price of text 2 freebie number) so personally myself i wouldnt bother!

I dont think we're getting VIP tickets now, just going to book some tomorrow. If they come up we'll sell the other for face value on eBay.

Out of interest, can you not get free booze and 2 free meals a day as VIP? I heard you could today.

never hear of that, but i do remember getting free beers and a kebab coz i had a virgin mobile. sweeeeet!
