Its about the time we can do this seen as though V have gave us a good list of bands to cross off.

So who are the bands (not headliners) who we think are deffinates. We pick them every year, no sources, no info, just pure guess on who we can guarantee will be there.

I think we are bound to see these at the festival

The Hoosiers (festival band that I thought would be back at V, No announcement tents to suggest Leeds)

Offspring (bound to be doing UK shows and no other announcement)

Maximo Park (T but not V)

Gaslight Anthem (T but not V)

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobious Pip (great reviews last year and no festival appearances yet)

Yeah, good shout on Maximo Park. If you've noticed there's a trend. One year a band plays Reading, the next they play 4th on Main at V, then come back to play 3rd at Reading the year after that - Bloc Party and Fratellis did it and I think Maximo will be this year's choice.

I was thinking that due to the fact that No Doubt and Paramore can't play Download Festival as they both on tour in America at the time that they might be likely for Leeds/Reading? Their tour in America finishes on August 1st

shame soulwax/2manydjs probably wont be playing,

Soulwax to appear at Bestival

Belgian futuristic electro rocking duo Soulwax will playing live on the Main Stage on Friday evening and then as 2manydjs in the Big Top on Friday night.

Festival organiser, Rob da Bank declared, "2manydjs are without a doubt my favourite DJs in the world, and it's been donkeys years since they last played Bestival so I'm well chuffed they're coming back to smash the hell out of the place! Not only that but they're also donning their white suits and rocking out on the main stage in their alter egos Soulwax – now that is doubly exciting and possibly the only chance you'll get to see Soulwax live in the UK this year."
