Newb here... What campsite does every think is the best? Preferably would like the closest one to the action... How are the security on smoking a bit of weed aswell?

4th year @ v and always camped in RED!!!

some of our mates camped in yellow last two years (not thro choice) managed to sneak into ours for a few drinkys but prefered red too!!!

where ever is great tho im sure you will meet some fab people and if ur with ur mates who cares?? xx

I've done Red and Yellow, must admit I preferred yellow. They had Bar Bar Bar in Red on the Friday night which is missing on yellow, but you can still have a good crack. depends what you're after I s'pose

weed & security???

HA! Last year, we were up all night in the tent with the security sat right outside. We offered them a beer and the reply was, I quote, "Nah mate, we're not allowed to drink on duty. Have you got a joint though?"

Gotta agree with Steveo, did Red in 2007 and Yellow last year and Yellow smashed it for me. Not so much going on which meant ppl had make their own entertainment..................got to meet more randoms that way as well!!
