Glasto was my first festival back in 2003 when i was 16 and it blew my mind! this year will be my 6th glasto and it gets better each year. I have been to Reading 2007 and 2008 but no more, Reading is just full of lil kids pretending to be on drugs and blowing things up and acting like complete retards, also the arena f**ks me off big time. Glasto is the only festival you will ever need! completely amazing!

Glastonbury is an excellent first festival. You will be *awestruck* by its scale, and you're unlikely to experience that quite as strongly a second time. Yet despite the size it's friendly and has something for everyone.

We mustn't write off the other festivals though. Apparently some people like Reading/Leeds. I though Bestival had a lot of heart, was great fun and pleasantly compact without being too small. Big Chill... End of the Road... Green Man... all good stuff.

Reading is a great festival for watching live music, easy to get round and everything is relativley close together, where as i found with glasto is less about watching bands and more about soaking up the party vibe and kicking back for 6 days, bring it on :P
